I used to own a TE Magna and always wanted a set of those because they were the closest aftermarket rim to the OEM 17" wheels on the Series 2 VRX Magnas. I seem them everywhere, especially 19s and 20s on Commodores and Monaros. So you've got to ask yourself, do I want a very common rim that looks just like a Mitsubishi standard rim? Maybe you do, there's a reason why they're common, a lot of people like them. Anybody here got a set on their AU?

Maybe it's me but those second rims look pretty much the same as the first ones.

I'd keep looking...

The Sabers are a nice looking rim. I like them.

The ROH wheels look good too, but I suspect they would be very prone to gutter damage.

The ROH Vaspours will suit your T bodykit to a...well, to a T!

I wouldn't actually worry about what others think - it's what you think that's important. I have had around 12 sets of rims in 3 or 4 years - I just change them as I get sick of them, or like BD, when I need new rubber.

Yea the sopkes are almost the same just the sabers have a dish, I guess I like the design of the top wheel and that's why the sabers caught my eye. I might try and photoshop the wheels onto my car and see how they would look, got to try a learn photoshop now :(

youv'e got the same colour car as me, I thought about the vapours and the people at the tyre factory were trying to make me get em but I decided in the end that there just was something not quite right.
I felt that if I got them I'd be thinking yeah there ok, not jeez that looks awesome.

I ended up getting XR8 rims. Everyone before I got the rims said "Why get XR8 rims, everyone has got them" Well theres a reason everyone has got them, its coz they look really good. Since I bought them everyone thinks they look fantastic.

If you want something different give them a try, if I didn't get the XR8's I probably would have got the vapours, but as i said there was something about them I just didn't love, keep looking and when you find the right wheel it will jump out at you and you won't need to ask anyones opinion

hey alpineau.. what size are you after? If you want 19's i would go these..
They'd suit your AU with the chunky kit so well imo.

unless those wheels come in 20, dont bother, they look shocking on anything other than an astra or focus.... even then they still look too small and cheap.
Save your pennies & go the wheels that are on the black ba ghia, they look tops!

So true JC, when rubber is close to end sell them or I get sick of them prior sometimes lol.....
AU with bodykit coming from my likes only 2 types of rims, big 5 spokes or up to 9 like I had on the XR8 or mesh stYle like BBS or Fusion's....
Important note, try and get 9" for the rear, the rear end needs to get filled out.
