Data valid as at 00:00 GMT December 28th, 2020.
Note: As not all Australian States report at the same time, the data below is based on the previous full day reporting. 25 new cases for Australia and 0 deaths so the CMR is 3.204%. NSW recorded 14 cases, WA & Queensland 5 each, Victoria 2 and SA recorded 1. 16 new cases and no deaths for NZ so CMR is 1.166% and active cases 50. The UK had a new record 41,385 cases yesterday and 357 deaths. Just over 153k new cases in the USA yesterday and 1,293 deaths sees CMR drop to 1.741% and active cases at 39.6% with the raw numbers rising and now over 7.7M. Note that the USA is actually minus one day due to time differences. Other notable points - bearing in mind that some countries still haven't reported over the Christmas period: The USA completes 248M, Spain 27M, Poland 7M and Sweden / South Korea 4M tests. Only Cyprus (751); and United Kingdom (41,385) ... recorded new daily highs; those in blue for the second consecutive day and those in red for a third or more consecutive day.
