If anyone had actually been a copper they would know that in some cases, the vests are a workplace hazard. If you've ever been in a situation where you are worried about getting shot, then a day-glo vest is a health hazard. Doesn't apply to traffic coppers?? What about the traffic cop that got killed last year in vic ?? a couple of years ago a traffic cop was shot in sydney... despite the fanciful musings by some day dreamers ... cops face a bigger challenge that how many tickets to write. It's another urban legend dreamed up to make little people feel better about themselves : |
