Default Diesel shudder when turning off.

Good morning all,

After the dealer tried to 'make things right' with me with due to their dodgy service they told me they would clean the intake hardware and do a diesel injector service 'on the house'.

Ok. So now I've had the car back for a week. I now have another concern. EVERY time the car is turned off it violently shakes from the engine.

The best way to describe it is like you have a manual car with a dodgy ignition off switch so you stall it to turn off the engine.

It feels like crap, and my wife noticed it on her own right away as well.

Every time. Without fail.

This used to happen prior to the 60k service debacle, say perhaps once a month if that.

I know some people have mentioned they have experienced the same thing with their cars. What I want to know, is to what extent? and did certain conditions make it more or less common?

If I were to ever sell the car anyone else would feel the same shake and question it. Prior to this, the car would turn off with little fanfair... much the same as a petrol car.

Oh... and they replaced the leather factory wheel under warranty with a cheaper vinyl wrapped one because apparently Ford 'ran out of the correct one'... funny that, and no, they will not be getting away with that either.

My main convern is this vibration...

When will this crap bloody end?? Car ownership shouldn't be this bloody hard.

Cheers,

Jason
