Hey all,
I'm looking for advice on which diff ratio to go with that will have my XE ute very streetable (city and highway) and still be able to break into the 10's. The setup so far is a C6 (2.46/1.46/1), 2200rpm hi-stall, 9" LSD 3:1, 275/60/15's and engine RPM @ 6000 (max). From memory the ute is around 3300lbs. I want to be able to keep engine revs at or under 2500rpm on the highway, using simple online calculators I can do with 3.5:1 ratio's but will I be able to get out of the hole quick enough to get into the 10's? |
