I was wondering if anyone can help me with some information. I have a Mk2 escort diff which has disc brakes on it. It's a 3.77 ratio and appears to be standard except for the disc's. They discs are solid (no vents,groove or holes) and the calipers are genuine ford (stamped) and look exactly like the front calipers on the mk2.
I have been told that it would have been brought into the country like this, Does anybody know if this is true or would know anything more about it? I am planning on putting it into a 2 door Mk2 which I will be getting my hands on at the end of the year (hopefully). Would I have to modify anything for it to work or would I just have to fit a brake Bias of some sort? |
