Default Changing engine mounts 88 Laser

Hi All,

How much work is involved in changing buggered engine mounts in an 88 laser? As it is now, the engine is sitting on the cross-member, although its not effecting the driving of the car.

Besides using an engine hoist, is it a difficult job? I guess once undone, the new rubbers slot in and get bolted back up?

Ive been told by a mechanic they need changing, but his quote was ridiculous. :

I was thinking about getting some from a wreckers, or possbily brand new ones, and doing it myself.

Any input would be great!!

Cheers!!
