THey can call it what they like ...... for all intensive purposes .... its a hatchback. Went and had a look at one. Same back door, 2 sides doors, same size blah blah as a Focus. They just bent the metal in a way that has blown all other 'hatches' away.

Dont get me wrong though .... I like the Focus but if thats the new model, they are going the same way as the BA to BF VIII
Well they, and most of the world's motoring organisations, call it a two door coupe. It also has a rear seat you can only fit in if you have no legs, so its useless in comparison to real hatchbacks.

Though technically, a Porsche 911 and Porsche Cayman are "hatchbacks."

Agree with you about how great it looks though... and its tops inside.
