All the "x-flow" & "pre-crossflow" Kent engines will bolt straight it. (1100, 1300, 1500, 1600) The 2lt pinto from a Cortina or later model Escort goes in without too much trouble.

The easiest ones are what they were built with - the Kent/crossflow, Pinto OHC, and if you are made of money the Twin Cam (Lotus) and BDA/Cosworth.
I have also seen them with Toyota & Nissan 4cyls (eg 4AGE, CA18, SR20) but they involve a bit more work as do V8's (really!) |

tufLTD: Yeah that would be great if you could send me some pictures and any additional information you may have, that your willing to share
Ill PM you my e-mail address. As far as i know, and correct me if I’m wrong again, you just have to modify/change engine mounts, the sump, radiator, fuel system (really!), exhaust system and a few other micky mouse things. Oh and obviously do some wiring! I'm also told you use RS parts and you wont have any problems! Cheers |
