Hi, I’m looking to mode to 4 wheel discs and 5 stud wheels,” and came across an XF diff. I understand the diff will need shortening, any other hiccups I might encounter? Thanks all

Hi. Its easy to loose about 3 inches on a falcon diff, just run 2 L/H axles. If you need more you can take 3 inches out of the right side and use the L/H axle in that side and then shorten the left side to get the length you need and get the R/H shaft shortened to suit (ie: 3 inches plus what you shortened the tube by). Cheers MD

Use an el ute/wags diff
Theyre 28 spline and some come with 3.45 gears and lsd You can shorten them 95mm each side, the put the short axle in the long side and have 190mm cut off the long axle
