Default AU i6 Sound Files.

I saw that there was an AU "8" sound file, so i thought i might make an AU i6 thread.

Let us hear what your AU i6 sounds like?

Here is one of mine that i made a while ago when i first got my exhaust. Its louder now and sounds a bit better but you get the idea. Im curious as too what other i6's sound like (probably like mine lol).

(dont worry bout the crap spraying out the exhaust either, i just washed it and its left over water up there : )

My AU

very nice note on your AU, impressive. Doesnt sound like a V8 or a Skyline, but has a nice unique sound.

Want to hear what my AU sounds like- Well go to your cupboard, pull your vaccum cleaner out and turn it on- youll get the same effect it sounds like a angry hoover vaccum cleaner.

very nice, your car looks nice aswell. sounds good for a 6. i like the way the ford i6 sounds. my old eb i6 sounded nice, much better than the annoying scream of the holden's v6.

Ill have to post an exhaust sound of my AU when Ive got some free time. Everyones exhaust compared to mine is totally different. Mines alot deeper and has a very loud drone, especially at crusing speed, which Ive come to like.

Has anyone heard their AU without a full exhaust on????

I un-bolted it off from the cat back and gezz it was loud, lol. I drove down the street with it off and it scared people. No flames though. It didnt feel like it made more power as im still running stock cat and headers, which are heaps restrictive.

I've heard my car and my mates EA with no exhaust on, coming out the cat. And yeah its blo0dy loud!
Have you heard a Falcon 6 straight from extractors? I started my car up in the shed straight from the extractors and man thats ear piercing! Whats even worse is straight from the block witch I found out by mistake! I forgot to tighten up the extractors and tried to start the car. The car didnt even turn over once as the sound was far too loud to handle and I had to turn it off again!!

The cars sound great guys. Good work.

Yeah took mine exhaust off after the cat and took it for a drive. Now being a manual it seamed to pull to redline, where as the standard exhaust in place it seams to start reving over 4500-5000rpm.
But it had lost the kick in the back pull you get at around 2500-3000rpm with the full exhaust in place

Just some of my thoughts

Cheers

Nice driving. Exhaust sounds like the 200SX that sometimes lives in our street. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing.

Certainly was. I figure I may as well enjoy it rather than just mod it for no good reason. Its fun modding, its MORE fun using the mods

lol, it wasn't drifting, it was more "uncontrolled sliding and tyre torture"

Man, it was FUN!
