So if I'm reading this right, XR/base/G6 low series
ICC units with touch screen are more prone to fail than high spec ones with Navigation etc - G6E/TItanium with Nav?
I have had this happen in about 4 cars and it is just such a bad time. I bought a daily driver ute recently and the air con vents were munted. I pulled the
ICC apart to replace the vents knowing I could brick the screen, luckily it powered up OK after an agonising 5 second wait after turning the key.
Also confirming no one has actually worked out how to fix a bricked screen?
