Not exactly. Cyanlabs provides a way you can download Sync 3 v3.4 from Ford (*unofficial and unsupported by Ford - so caveat emptor) and upgrade your vehicle's Sync 3 v3.0 to v3.4. It's not an alternate UI in the sense it's from a third party, it's only an alternate UI in the sense it is version 3.4 compared to v3.0.
