quick update, end result was two issues. First car wouldn't start due to bad body earth (unbolted strap on body, scratched the paint and reattached), all good.

Second issue was the code "Parking Aid Malfunction", which now that we can start the car, narrows it down to the reversing "module", as in reverse all the sensors don't pick anything up or make any noise.

Thanks for all your ideas and help, the end result was so simple but so frustrating to get to the end result.
