I see what you mean by bitsa. It has a similar looking valve cover to the Chonda/Krohler Honda knockoff type engines.
I wouldn't pay more than $200 to be honest. It looks to be the older Big Bob design without the handle-to-chassis braces that have been used for the last 20+ years of production. If you can get it at a good price, run it till it turns into an oil burner and then put a new engine on it.
