Default Re: Covid 19 -

Data valid as at 00:00 GMT week ending September 8th 2023.

5,241 new cases for Australia and 41 deaths so the CMR is 0.193% (-)
NZ reported 3,624 cases and 26 deaths for a CMR of 0.193% (UP)
185,340 new cases in the USA this week and 904 deaths for a CMR of 1.085% (DOWN)
Global case numbers pass 695M
North America passes 128M cases.

Global case numbers are down to 263,817 this week compared to the 371,255 last week and the number of deaths increased from an unamended 1,068 last week to 1,312 this week. It should be noted that the amended case numbers for last week are up to 499,747 and the amended deaths up to 1,314 due to the extended reporting periods.

Australia / New Zealand
NSW Predictive Trend

VIC Predictive Trend

Other States Predictive Trend

NSW had 950 more cases than Victoria last week;
Victoria recorded 362 less cases than the previous week;
NSW recorded 2 more;
Queensland had 405 less;
WA recorded 6 more;
SA recorded 3 more; and
New Zealand recorded 142 more.

The week totalled 5.241 cases, an 8.6% decrease on last week but we are clearly under-reporting cases because the CMR the last few weeks has been well above the long-term.
