Niche market, but it wouldn't take much to develop a Ranger equivalent but at the end of the day they are such high volume sellers in their plane jane boring slow diesel form that there's no drive for initiative in this area to capture the couple of percentage points who would go for such an offer.

The Chinese seem to love unleaded turbo engines in commercial vehicles (LDV G10 anyone lol) - might be an offering in that segment from our Chinese 'friends'.

Sadly, you're right. But even the base Falcon Ute had better performance than these diesel slugs. I hate them! I tried to love my Everest but that 3.2 was just miserable.
