Could it be that the profit margins on it are non-existent/small ,so it's hardly worth selling? Just gives them a lower price entry point that looks good on paper, and might bring some people in the door where they can try to upsell to the Trend?
Or just some excess production they have taken on to clear some stock from the UK.
