To change a FWD to 4wd, does it require splitting the floor, or are they both built on the same floor pan. i know the fuel tank would be in the way, I dont recall a large enough turret, but the box is in the engine bay so maybe it can be done???
V8 on the other hand, have to be keen to split the floor to accomodate the box etc. Seen it done to mini's though, so yeah theres some enthusiastic people out there. I understand V8's in RWD cars, but a front wheel drive conversion is a whole other animal. Any pics of a rotary or v8 conversion. It would be interesting to see what they do.
