They got to this very muddy section and the big vehicles got stuck had to be winched out. My mate just gunned the Suby, it floated across the mud and scrambled out the other side.

The old French 2CV was reportedly built around the need for farmers to be able to drive across a freshly plowed fields and replace any panel on it easily.
The Subaru brumby is another favourite down here that keeps going on.
