So "they (turkeys) have an excuse to justify their exorbitant wages/super fund/perks/flights/junkets/stuff (and 24ct gold toilet paper) to the masses.
All whilst putting their name up in lights to say "Look what I did", so they can get an overpaid job in the private sector after politics
