Yes I was refering to the ADR Emissions of the supercharger kit.
I believe a company like yourselves can get a blanket Emissions Certification for an individual car model / year(s).
You can then provide this certification so the buyers of your kits do not have to go through the process individually.
I am not sure if the certification would only apply to drive in / drive out installs or for the kit itself.
But like I said I do know of a local shop here that will do 100% legal SC install - they are drive in / drive out deal.
I also know the last time I looked into getting a SC setup made legal that I installed myself it was a long drawn out expensive exercise. But IMO it's better to be legal than to get into an accident, then get your insurance dropped on some technicality ( like having an illegal non certified SC install ) and then pssibly be liable for unlimited $$$. That would ruin most peoples days.
Whether one chooses to stay legal or not is an individual decision.
From your reply, I assume the answer is no.
I was just curious so if I buy a kit one day I know the next step forward. That is to get emmissions certification after the install.
All good.
Great results :-)
