Unfortunately for aviation in Australia there isn't much choice for jobs as we don't really have that many airlines, 2 of which are Qantas anyway (Jetstar and Qantas airways).
Virgin is coming up the ranks and expanding quickly which means more jobs. But at the end of the day it's British so the money you pay for a ticket with them is probably partly going overseas.
