Over the last few years, 4000 commodore buyers a month have swapped their buys for another car, and a few thousand falcon buyers have done the same. I guess a few years ago, people would have been saying the same thing you are now.
However, with the level of discounting being offered on the Commodore and Falcon ranges, and the high percentage that go to fleets, I assume that the release of a new rival (no matter how small), would rank at about number 78 on their list of worries.
